To check to see if you have a V.92 modem, follow these instructions: For Windows 98 Users: Click Start, Point To Settings, Click the Control Panel. Double Click on Modems. Under, "The following modems are setup on this computer" , the type of modem you have will be listed. If you don't see V.92, then you don't have a V.92 modem. For Windows XP Users: Click Start, Go into The Control Panel. The Control Panel should be in Classic View. Double Click on Phone & Modems.
